Appointment Arrival Times: Each groomer has specific times they take throughout the day for grooming. Please arrive promptly for your appointment. If you are running late please give us a call. If you are more than 15 minutes late we may have to reschedule your appointment. Groomers work by appointment, if are are late we may have to run into another appointment time which is unfair to the groomer and the other clients.
Cancellation Notice: In order to schedule grooming appointments for the convenience of our clients, we must make maximum use of every appointment slot. We confirm all appointments via text message/E-Mail. Clients who cancel fewer than 24 hours before their appointment or who do not show up for a scheduled appointment will be rescheduled only after other clients have been accommodated. We may charge a "No Show" fee of 50% of the estimated appointment cost, it would apply to your next grooming appointment, and we reserve the right to decline future appointments for clients who fail to keep a scheduled appointment three times in a calender year without adequate prior notice. We may also require a deposit for future grooming that would be applied to the appointment. Deposits are non-refundable if appointment is missed again. The deposits will be applied to the overall cost of the groom.
Late Pick-Up: All pets brought in for grooming must be picked up within two hours of the time the client is informed the pet is ready unless special arrangements are made by the groomer ahead of time. Pets remaining after that time will be placed in daycare and a half-day fee of $15.00 will be charged. We reserve the right to decline future appointments for clients who fail to pick up their pet on time on more than one occasion. Our hours are by appointment only, please pick up before 5:00PM. There is a $1.00 per minute charge is the groomer must stay past closing time. This is on a case by case basis. If pets are not picked up by 6:00PM they will be boarded overnight and a boarding fee of $75.00 will be charged at pickup.
Re-Do Policy: If you are unhappy with the results of your pet's grooming, contact us within 2 business days of your appointment and we will re-do the grooming by appointment availability at no additional charge. We want our clients to be happy and understand that it can be disappointing when something doesn't turn out right, please allow us the change to make it right.
De-Matting/Impacted Undercoat Fee: Heavily matted pets require additional time to either comb out, or trim. A de-matting fee of $60.00 per hour may be charged to comb out matted pets. De-matting is stressful for the pet, so we will decline to de-mat pets that require more than one hour of de-matting and offer to shave the pet instead. A matted dog contract and/or number of prepaid appointments may be required under certain circumstances.
Preparation Fee: Heavily matted pets may need to be shaved prior to bathing. A charge of $15 - $50 may be added for additional time required to do so.
Behavioral Issues: We will make every attempt to groom uncooperative pets, but we may not be able to complete grooming on pets that pose a threat to themselves, other pets or our groomers. We reserve the right to decline a return appointment for pets who's behavior makes it unsafe for us to groom them. We also reserve the right to stop the grooming appointment at any time and clients may be responsible for the entire cost of the appointment. A muzzle may be used if your pet shows signs of aggression. ANY BITE HISTORY MUST BE DISCLOSED BEFORE A PET'S APPOINTMENT! You may be held responsible for any damages your pet causes to a groomer. A bite can be the end of a groomer's career. Please be honest. We will do our best to work with any pet or make recommendations for your pet to help them be more comfortable with the grooming process in the future.

Toe Nail Trimming: All nails will be trimmed and/or filed during each grooming appointment. We always do our best to trim the nails as short as possible, without hurting your pet. However, overgrown nails may bleed when cut. Groomers will apply styptic powder if a nail bleeds. A quicked nail is very common in overgrown toenails and is not from the carelessness of the groomer but from the overgrowth of the nail. If your pet is showing signs of stress or aggression, we may not be able to clip or file your pet's nails adequately. If a toenail begins to bleed at home, your pet may have opened up a freshly clipped nail. Please contact the salon right away if this happens. If your pet continues to show stress, aggression or begins to hurt themselves or the groomers we reserve the right to no longer clip or file your pets nails as a part of your normal grooming process.
Injuries: There is always the possibility of cuts, nicks, or irritation during the grooming process. Some pets are harder to handle than others and accidents can occur. There are also times when matting may unveil something the pet would not have shown unless shaved. This is not caused by the groomer being careless, but the severity of the mats. We will always do an inspection of your pet upon arrival and in the bathtub. Your groomer will notify your of anything they find during those. Should any cuts occur during the grooming process., we will notify you and advise you on how to treat these. Injuries caused due to the condition of the dog or matting is NOT the responsibility of Noble Dog Inc. and any vet costs due to these are at the expense of the client.
